About this video: In this video, I show you exactly how to download and install shaders in Minecraft 1.14. We go over step of getting shaders in Minecraft 1.14 from where to download shaders in Minecraft 1.14 to how to install Minecraft 1.14 shaders packs, it is all covered in this video! Specifically, in this video, we are going to be installing the Sildur's Vibrant Shaders shaders pack, but this will work for all Minecraft 1.14 compatible shaders packs.
First and foremost, we need to download and install Optifine. Optifine is required to install and run shaders in Minecraft 1.14. You can find our in-depth tutorial on how to download and install Optifine in the description above. We also go over what to do if you haven't been able to install Optifine for shaders in the past by fixing Java and making Optifine as easy as double-clicking on it!
After you have Optifine, we need to download shaders for Minecraft 1.14. Now, there are tons of different shaders packs for Minecraft 1.14, but in this video, we are going to be using Sildur's Shaders. However, the process is exactly the same for every shaders pack. You can find a link to a list of the top 5 best shaders packs for Minecraft 1.14 in the description above. This will help you find the perfect Minecraft shaders for 1.14!
After you have your shaders pack downloaded, we need to install it. To do this, open Minecraft with Optifine installed. Then, click on the 'Options' button on the Minecraft main video. Then, select 'Video Settings'. Here you will see a 'Shaders' button. Click that. If you don't have a shaders button, you aren't running Minecraft with Optifine. Make sure you select the Optifine profile in the Minecraft launcher by clicking the little green arrow next to the play button and selecting it.
After you have clicked the 'Shaders' button, installing Minecraft 1.14 shaders is easy. All you have do is click the 'Shaders Folder' button in the bottom left of Minecraft and then drag and drop your shaders pack into that folder. It really is that quick and that easy. Once you click on Minecraft, your shaders pack will have automatically appeared. Click on it, and it will activate. To change swaying grass and water, quality, etc of your shaders pack, click on 'Shader Options' in the bottom left of Minecraft.
